A knitwear capsule built from a single stitch repeated until it becomes a silhouette. The shape comes from tension and repetition, not from cutting, so the garments are made more like drawings than patterns.
Half the work was done by hand in Kadıköy with a group of knitters who taught me the stitch. The other half was done on the machine in the back room, which takes the long plain rows so the detail can be done by hand.
The capsule was sold through one shop in Istanbul and a seasonal lookbook shot on the seawall in Üsküdar, where the wind did half the styling.
