I weave with cotton, sisal and recycled yarn on a loom I rebuilt from a broken one in my uncle's garage. My colours come from indigo, avocado skins and the red soil after the rains. Most of my work is made with a group of women who sit with me on Thursdays and gossip while the shuttle moves.
